| Removing the ears and tail
- Remove the stock Aibo ears by peeling them off of the ear hub. Remove the stock tail by tail by gently pulling it off the tail hub.
- Start by laying the aibo down and facing the face towards the right.

- Hook one end of the ear into the end of the ear hub marked number 1.
- With that end firmly hooked into the ear hub and using one hand to hold it in place, hook the other end of the ear into ear hub marked number 2.
Use reasonable force to stretch it over the other edge. - Now slip the sides over the edges of the ear hub while making sure both extremes of the ear stay attached.
- Rotate Aibo’s head to the other side and repeat the process for the other ear.

- For the tail, lay Aibo flat. Then rotate the tail hub upwards (marked number 3) and hold it steady while sliding the new tail onto the hub.
- Slide it all the way to the base of the tail hub.
| Removal of the Aibo Attire accessories
- To remove the ears, simply start by unhooking the edges (marked 1 and 2). The rest should pop off easily.
- To remove the tail, rotate the tail hub (marked 3) upwards and wiggle the tail off from the base. If it fits too snugly to wiggle, spread the opening of the tail a little bit with your fingers before trying again.
